finding the right name for no.2

"spoilt for choice", you could say. we are not only allowed to decide on a call name, even her AKC registration name will come from us.
Unfortunately the AKC has the rule of only 36 characters (spaces included), Timbreblue shall be included and I want to have her puppy name in there as well.
My first choice would have been "Timbreblue's Little Lightnin' Strikes", but it's too long by 1 character... nothing but "Little" can be shortened, so we go by
Timbreblue's Lil' Lightnin' Strikes
to continue the Asian call names of our pets, I wanted either Bonsai or Geisha.
Bonsai would mean "the tiny one" for me, Martin and I both like these special Japanese trees, but it's a name that could fit a boy too, so I better reserve it for later (just in case).
Geisha stands for elegance as well as entertainer (with several skills). The general appearance of a Whippet is always elegant, she is meant to be the entertainer of Kenzo + us and of course will be multitasking one day (Agility, Rally, Obedience; maybe even some conformation shows at the beginning) and her face is almost completely covered in the typical white make-up the real geishas wear ;)

  1. Love the photos and new blog, Maria! And the name is just perfect! Sorry the Timbreblue part takes up so many letters. We started out with the kennel name Timbre, but then found out there were also Timbrel Whippets and Mimbre Whippets, so we decided we'd better add something to keep people from being confused about who was who!
