pick up/first night/morning

after work, we headed down to Lexington a praying mantis reassured us of our luck on the way to the car
we spent a nice evening there chewing bones meeting other new puppy owners Billy/Mercy found her match and will have cats to try to play with as well as our little one
enjoying the pups with their perfect manners until it was time to bring our new family-member home :)

she slept fine with Kenzo on the backseat, was a bit shy going to and in the house + then really surprised what other furry friends there were... they make so funny noises! and how they smell...
something to eat, we played a while (Kenzo more than her, as he had to take ALL new toys first, just to make sure they are safe ;>), then potty
the cats took advantage of that
+ to bed. crated with her comfy bed, everyone else already tested, she slept through + didn't even bother to move a lot when I got up in the morning to do our (cats + dog) morning routine. later she looked a bit around, so I thought she had to get up. first thing: going out to do a business. then breakfast + back to sleep :)

today is the day!!!

so excited!!! but have to go to work first, to deserve to pick our little baby girl up :) can't wait!!!

just to make sure...

last Sunday, we made another visit with our guests (Martin's brother + his girlfriend) at the Timbreblue mansion.
Sharyn suggested, I better have another look at Tempest too, as she would have the fearless personality for a wonderful agility dog & she's absolutely right! she's a bundle of energy, that would just fly all over the place.
but we decided, calm loving Lightnin' still fits better to the overall temperament in our house. and who knows... she may figure out, agility is FUN! Tempest left with Martin, Lightnin' right on my lap

OK, I have to give the credit to Martin... on his lunch break, he caught both cats in the snugly bed! they don't look amused though...

... that was the very first impression Martin had of Geisha... we will see, if she's able to beat Kenzo in eating green: I usually share a leaf of my salad with him even a carrot would never be put aside here in the perfect "cow pose" enjoying fresh grass
