the day of Christmas-Eve
Geisha's first Christmas started a bit chilly
but it warmed up during the day, so we could make another trip with the Hot Rod... this time to the park. to take the dogs along I had to drive in our Chevy though :)
both had lots of fun running around
in Austria it's tradition to give gifts on Christmas-Eve, so we did that too...
THANKS to Jace, who was our Secret Santa!
both LOVED what the received!

snow + sun = fun
although the sun came out, there's still some snow left
where are her "whippet-ears"?
going for a kill
got'cha!
zoomies with an alien-shadow
and full speed back
to the green zone
and again... and again... and again :)

her first white stuff
we would call it snow, she would say awfully cold! but with an irresistible toy, you still can have fun :)
running keeps you warm at least for a little bit... Kenzo got to play too
back inside, we enjoyed the couch

fun coursing practice
close to us (Staunton area), a couple who has Lurchers
and horses invited to have some fun. we got the opportunity to spend a sunny but freezing cold day with Timbreblues
and other friends
see the BC stalking and the collie trying to pass him to run...
Sidney and her LHW came too!
Kenzo had to spend most of the time in the car, as he couldn't stop barking even when the bags didn't move at all. crazy boy! Martin did a good job releasing him the first time! when we decided he could show Juliet (Geisha's mom) what it's all about, it was my turn and I wasn't so lucky! he escaped 2x by backing up between my legs... then both had a nice run :)
look at his eyes! seems like he wants to tell her better not even look at HIS bags ;)
Geisha got to run with Siren (Chippy's daughter, 2 weeks older) and they came 1/2 way together, then Siren decided to see where Sharyn was and Geisha finished alone. keep focus sweety! unfortunately we didn't get pictures of this run...
it was a short course, so Kenzo had a 3rd run with 2 other Whippets.
Next time we are at an official event, I will get him certified :)

1/2 a year young
right after Kenzo turned 3, Geisha had her 1/2 birthday! of course we had a cozy day on the couch (due to miserable weather)
+ practiced some stacking, which still needs improvement ;)
will she remains in this position when I move?

Happy Birthday and a Happy Thanksgiving!
3 years ago, Kenzo and his siblings were born in Latvia!
Congratulations to all!
Kenzo started his day with a delicious breakfast
then got the chance to play with his newest ball
hopefully this one lasts longer then all others before...
looking forward to 356 days of joy and fun!

the weather is inviting for a nap today ;) so I thought a post of cuddling pets won't be wrong...
mid of October they could enjoy the sunshine still outside
now it's more stacking on the couch
whippets love sleeping on their back
just cuddling is great too!
and a cat never minds a cozy bed as well :)
Dude, a master of adjustment
